Christine Ferens, M.Ed., LPCC-S, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in private practice in the Dayton area. Since 2001, she has worked with a wide range of clients, specializing in the treatment of trauma and grief and drawing on EMDR, IADC, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Positive Psychology. Much of her recent work has been with women navigating anxiety and grief while juggling home and career. Her career spans both the therapy room and the leadership table, with experience in program and agency direction, crisis services, quality improvement, and business development across community mental health, hospital, and managed care settings. She holds a Master of Education in Community Agency Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling, a bachelor's degree in English, and a certificate in Women's Studies, all from Ohio University.
